Ceramics

Restored teeth look similar to natural ones.

Metal-free ceramics are widely used in the manufacture of dental prostheses, and especially in the restoration of front teeth. The teeth look like real ones because the ceramics refract light in exactly the same way as natural tooth enamel does.

Metal-free veneers, crowns and tabs are safe for the health, and never cause allergic reactions. At the same time, they offer high strength and durability, and do not become deformed in the course of time, in contrast to those with metal frames.

When you have your teeth restored using metal- free ceramics, you can be absolutely sure that your smile will be absolutely natural and will be dazzling for many years.

Stages in the production of metal-free dental prostheses:

  • A model of the teeth is made by the dentist, using a special wax.

  • Produsing from zirconium oxide or aluminum core (thus the scanned wax model is transferred to a special computer program).

  • A three-dimensional model is constructed, building on the future frame, taking into account the shrinkage that will occur during the sintering process.

  • The electronically-formed core model is produced using specialized milling equipment of the highest quality. There, the crowns or prostheses are ground from a block of zirconium oxide.

  • The next stage is the sintering of the zirconia in a special furnace where it acquires the necessary strength.

  • Ceramic materials are selected according to the individual patient's tooth colour, and the pre-made inner frame is overlaid.

  • The colour of the teeth and the prosthesis are almost identical.
